Don’t Forget Manna Cards for Holiday Giving
Stocking stuffers, gifts for the letter carrier, babysitter, grandchildren and more, Manna Cards are always a welcome gift. If you have used them before, you know how convenient they are, and if you haven’t, the time has come to try it out. Gift cards from all kinds of merchants are available, and you just pay for the amount of the gift card. Manna, through a special arrangement with each merchant, earns a commission on the sale of the gift card, which is shared with our Mission Committee. So you provide extra funds for the Mission Committee’s work, and it doesn’t cost you anything – you or your gift recipient receive a gift card for the total amount you spent. A table is set up in Fellowship Hall after worship on Sunday, where you can order your cards (bring your checkbook, no credit card sales!) and speak with one of the volunteers about the program. Some of the more popular cards are available for immediate sale, the others you would order and pay one Sunday, and pick up your cards the next Sunday. If you participate in the Annual Giving Tree at church, all of the gift cards requested as gifts on the tree are available through Manna. Bring the tag from the tree along with your check, and the Manna crew will take care of the rest!
