Help Fill the Shelves at Local Food Pantries

On the 4th Sunday of each month we collect non-perishable food and other grocery items to be distributed by the two food pantries in our area. The Salvation Army in St. Charles or the Community Pantry in Elburn are a source of food to those in need in our communities.  A grocery store cart is parked in the Narthex on Sunday morning.  You may deposit your donations, and if the cart is overflowing (and we hope it is!) just place your donations next to the cart.  Members of the Mission Committee will deliver the food to one of the pantries.  The January theme is BOWL, so think soup, chilli, Ramen noodle and such, but the pantry will accept any non-perishables even if it doesn’t match the monthly theme.
